You're on Route 52 with XBE. For 52 straight Mondays in 2025, we're announcing something new and exciting.

We've reached Mile Marker Seven: Prevent Dispatching Mistakes with Driver Assignment Rules. If you handle dispatching or compliance, this stop is for you.

Assigning the wrong driver can mean safety risks, compliance violations, and costly delays. Now, with branch-level driver assignment rules, you can set custom requirements for specific situations—like expected driver attributes, certifications, or driver-specific restrictions that apply to certain projects, job sites, material types, or other shift characteristics.

Artificial intelligence interprets your rules and enforces them automatically. If a driver doesn’t meet the requirements, the assignment is blocked—unless an authorized override is made.

This means easy administration, automatic rule enforcement, and tracked overrides.

And we’re just getting started. Soon, more granular rules will allow even better control. And eventually, we'll precompute driver assignment constraints in order to optimize and automate assignment planning.

With driver assignment rules, dispatching gets easier and safer on the path to full automation.

Stay tuned next week for Mile Marker Eight.
